Everyone likes to have their favourite things when traveling and, having recently traveled overseas, I found my aromatherapy 'potions and lotions' invaluable whilst away from home.
As the world becomes a smaller place and as we travel further away from home and our familiar surroundings, we look for ways to take our 'home' with us, and tote along items which will make our lives a little easier and more comfortable in unfamiliar surroundings.

Each of these unique purse are made from discarded saris, the traditional clothing worn by women in Nepal, India and large parts of Asia. The artisan finds the most interesting pieces to use, creating a unique purse so no two are alike. Since the fabric was originally for a much more important purpose the intricacy of embroidery and beadwork are of a quality you will not often see in this price range. Lined for cosmetics and lotions.

'Fresh as a Daisy' Car Air Freshener Spray

Whether it's a smoker who shares your car or the smell of that takeaway pizza lingering from last night, this 'freshener' is just the thing to leave your car smelling 'fresh as a daisy' starting out and during your drive. As the essential oils used in this blend have antiseptic qualities too, you can be sure any 'nasties' will be eliminated as well!

'Tummy Tune Up' Remedy

A gentle blend of essential oils to be massaged into your tummy for a tummy-ache or mild tummy upset caused by unfamiliar foods. Gentle enough to be used by young children and mums-to-be. Select massage oil or lotion. Carriers used: Apricot Kernel oil (prunus armeniaca) or white lotion base.

I highly recommend this one!

'Bite Away' Insect Repellent/Bite Lotion

Geranium and Tea Tree essential oils blended together to help both repel those biting insects or soothe the bites of those caught too late! Can also be used to help 'calm' rashes and red areas of the skin. An intelligent addition to any travel kit to warmer climes! Carriers used: Apricot Kernel oil (prunus armeniaca) or white lotion base.

My husband and I like to camp and I wouldn't be caught without my 'Bite Away'!
