The professional aromatherapy blends collection was created by Sedona Aromatherapie with the professional therapist in mind who may have little or no knowledge of aromatherapy. I consider these aromatherapy blends suitable for the use they have been designed for, as stated with the individual aromatherapy blend descriptions below.
Please refer to the aromatherapy glossary for any additional cautions with the use of a particular essential oil if you are unsure of the properties of the essential oil and study individual essential oil profiles in the aromatherapy library.
In addition, I strongly advise that you undertake, at the minimum, an introductory course in aromatherapy and the use of essential oils before practicing with clients. You may be interested in some of the aromatherapy courses offered by Sedona Aromatherapie or you can get advice from other therapists in the aromatherapy forum (scheduled for 2012).

A Calm Oasis
For the client who requires some peace in their life, I highly recommend this calming blend of lavender (Lavandula angustifolia) and Roman chamomile (Chamaemelum nobile) essential oils blended together in a carrier of sweet almond oil (Prunis dulcis).

For the client who carries a lot of stress in their life, I highly recommend this chill out blend of palmarosa (Cymbopogon martinii) and geranium (Pelargonium graveolens) essential oils blended together in a carrier of sweet almond oil (Prunis dulcis).

A sensual blend of ylang ylang (Cananga odorata) and bergamont (Citrus bergamia) essential oils in a carrier of sweet almond oil (Prunis dulcis) for the client who needs a little spice in their life.

To add an extra lift to your client's day, use this uplifting blend of litsea (Litsea cubeca) and petitgrain (Citrus aurantium var amara) essential oils in a carrier of apricot kernel oil (Prunis armeniaca).
